Today, the arrival of of chilly air was accompanied by gray clouds and dreary rain. Which made me want warm food. Which made me think of homemade vegetable soup, chicken and rice soup, and chili. Maybe this Fall weather isn't so bad after all.
After work, I gathered the fixings for chili and headed home to make a pot of chili and some texas toast. Delicious and easy! And warm! Sometimes I like to make chili from scratch, but after a long day at work this easy recipe is my go-to.

- For each pound of ground chuck, add 2 cans of dark red kidney beans (drained), 3 cans of diced tomatoes (we like Muir Glen), and 1 to 1 1/2 packets of Sauer's Chili Seasoning.
