Mama's Green Gift Guide

Have you started Christmas shopping? 

Like me, do you tend to wait till the last minute? 

I like to do lots of research and window shopping first. Then I do the shopping in December. 

This year I have decided that I may as well share the fruits of my labor. I am working on a list of great green gift ideas to post! The Green Gift Guide will be posted on Mama Making Changes in early November so that you can start shopping in plenty of time to have items delivered to your door.

Summer Blog Challenge: Day 68

Today's Challenge: Tell a skill you wish you had. 

I wish I was more crafty and creative. I see so many cute ideas that other people think of and put into action, but I have to settle for being a copycat or customer of the crafty people. 

One of my best friends in the world is one of those types. She can make anything from anything. She recently gave me a birthday card that was really beautiful. I had to ask if she made it because it didn't look handmade but I know how good she is. She made it. Of course.Why couldn't I have talent like that? 

I have another friend who makes a variety of crafts each fall and sells them to earn money for Christmas. I buy them from her to give for Christmas. Last Christmas she made personalized water bottles and wine glasses. The same friend also does flowers for weddings as a side income. Beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets. She is so gifted. 

Well, at least my friends are creative, right? I can always get my hands on some unique gifts!
