Wordless Wednesday: What Does Fun Look Like?

I haven't done a Wordless Wednesday post in quite a while, even though I've taken an absolutely massive number of pics this summer. So, I figure it's about time. And I thought it would be fun to share some of our fun! So I hope you enjoy this brief summary of our summer so far...

As you can see, we have been outdoors as much as possible this summer! I'm so thankful to live near several lakes and the Atlantic Ocean. What outdoor activities have you been able to enjoy lately? Hope you are having as much fun in the sun as we are!

Summer Blog Challenge: Day 2

Challenge of the Day: Post a picture of yourself smiling.

Okay, I hate having my picture made. Really. I love my camera and I am always taking pictures of everyone else, but I don't have many pictures of me. So after spending way too much time looking through all of the thousands of digital images saved on my laptop, I decided to take a picture just for this. I had no choice. Every somewhat recent pic of myself smiling has already been posted somewhere on my blog in the last few months. You only recall seeing a couple of pics of me? I know! That's my point! Haha. Anyway, here it is, my self-portrait...

Summer Blog Challenge Day 1

June 1: Why are you doing this challenge?

I joined the Summer Blog Challenge for several reasons, actually. First and foremost, when I heard about this challenge I was immediately interested because it looked like fun! And girls just wanna have fun, right? A different question each day and I have committed to answer, no matter what the question is.

Another reason I am excited about the challenge is that it will keep me writing every day even when our summer activities get into full swing. I have committed to post an answer to the question of the day, every day, regardless of what else I post or what else is going in my life.

Lastly, I am honestly hoping my readers will enjoy getting to know me better and will come back each day to see what the question and answer of the day are. Maybe the questions will spark some conversation so that I can get to know them better, too!
